Alright, I'll just see what's happening after saturday then. And if for instance no notifications can be sent anymore from within couch/sick/sonarr,..., I'll just change the mediaserver settings so it updates it's library on an hourly basis or so.
-
Does this mean that, after saturday, plex will no longer work in OpenFLIXR?
-
In both those programs (Sick and Couch), I think you can press a "test" button to see if you can actually connect to sab. Try that, there might be something wrong with the connection between the apps. As far as I know, you'll only need to …

For nothing really, at least out of the box. It's a nice fun tool to play around with if you want to automate certain stuff like philiips hue lights, chromecasts, or IFTTT. But, in the sense of "is it used for all the download stuff" no, i…

(Quote) Plex just works with "folders", so, in the left pane on your server, you can add a library and choose the type you want (tv shows, movies, music), when prompted for a folder, choose the mounts you had to create for OpenFLI…

Doh! Note to self, search first ;-) Feel free to remove this thread! Edit: even worse, I posted there... Brainfart

I had this issue earlier this week, but, that was due to a mismatch in login credentials, where it seemed that my server and my plex.tv "client" weren't running the same plex user. Don't know how I fixed it, but it involved a lot of loggin…
-
That's good to hear, I already thought it was quite strange that it worked...
-
No, I mean that I don't have to login at all to be able to run the setup, I can pick a new password there, but, don't have to enter an old one, so in a way, everybody can go to the domain and run my setup it seems :o I have to login to continue to /…
-
About the language by the way, I've got it in dutch (will change it back to english though, always better for apps), and I don't have any issues with movie posters or tv show posters...
-
Well, 10 years of software development, yet hardly any experience with linux and stuff like https connections and A records, but yeah, I'm trying ;) And, .... yeah, the only thing I didn't try was to connect through https... which I just did, and, …
-
Ok, so, I registered a domain name, went to the control panel and modified the A record to point to my public IP. Then I forwarded that public IP:443 to my internal openflixr IP. Ran setup again, this time filling in the domain and my emailadres in …

I'm using WonderNews (YabNews nowadays - https://www.yabnews.nl/en/index.html), quite happy with it so far, I just make sure to only extend my package in times when they have promotions going (around christmass for instance). That way, I don't pay a…

(Quote) Fair warning though, because I was setting up a new server (but still had all the files on my old server) my couchpotato started downloading my watchlist again, even though it had done that before, on my other server. But that's of course no…
-
One more question here, reading through the setup, looking up info about a records etc..., they all mention static ip addresses (which is logical). Yet, my provider (Telenet) works with dynamic ip addresses, they don't change all that often (hardly …
-
I don't see how you could make it any more simple though, it already is ;-) Only real config I changed afterwards was post processing of CouchPotato, since the default setup doesn't do that (it sets the download location in Sab directly to the mount…
-
Is it safe to run the setup again, just for that? Or can I find those settings somewhere after setup? Just asking since I already configured a lot of stuff after my last setup.
-
For visibility: the logs didn't show any anomalies so I decided to remove my OpenFLIXR vm and start over. All is working fine now! It might have also been fixed if I removed my couch potato database and restored it. But since it was a clean install…

I had this error too the first few times I tried to get the .ova file running in my FreeNAS virtualbox jail. Tried the different network options and ended up with the "Bridged" one that did the trick and got rid of the error (and actually …
-
Sent you the last 500 lines in the syslog. Thanks by the way for trying to help!
-
Noticed setup wasn't doing the trick ;) Just tried it and, as you said, nothing changed. I could pm you the syslog, but, as you expected, I've got no clue what you're talking about, I'll look it up on google, and if I can't find anything, I'll wait …

Shows "Couchpotato: Execution failed". I'm gonna run the setup once again, and see if that fixes it. If not, I'm affraid I'll have to run the default freeNAS plugins in stead of OpenFLIXR :(
-
Ok, this is getting really annoying sadly. Why is CouchPotato not running at all, after a default install (aka, default wizard steps and program selection)? Logging shows errors on CP (modules.couchpotato, ERROR, Unable to fetch information) Can't g…

Ran setup again, went for the default sickrage/sab setup, now it works.

So, after trying to get nzbget to work, I thought I'd just revert to the default sabnzbd for downloads. But, it seems I can't actually enable that one anymore? Is that because I chose to use nzbget in the setup? When I'm in the settings for sabnzbd,…
-
Last update of the day, OpenFLIXR is up and running! Now I'm just going through each app and checking configs, updating permissions etc... As I wanted to be annoying and use Sonarr & NZBGet, I've got some stuff to figure out why one can't write …
-
Appologies, I'm currently running the setup Wizard. All I had to do was download another vnc client (tightvnc didn't work) and remotely connect to the virtual machine to be able to see the console, and the op needed for the setup.
-
So, I'm a bit further into the configuration of my server, and currently trying out openFLIXR in a virtualbox jail on my FreeNAS. Sadly, it's not working just yet. I managed to get the .ova file running, but all it says in the left pane of the scree…

I'm using dognzb.cr, but I think they are on An invite system nowadays.

As an extra question about the hardware, I'll be running freeNAS from a 16GB flash drive and have 4x2TB as storage (dual 2TB mirrors) (and will expand that in the future). Yet, would I not need another drive, SSD or regular, to install openFLIXR on?…
